Among other things, the Statute of the Ukrainian Royal Family regulates the succession to the throne, the age of legal majority and guardianship issues. It regulates the status of the Head of the Family and the Veche (an advisory assembly of nobles).

The Chancellery of the Ukrainian Royal Family was formed on 11 November 2019 by the Decree No 2019002: On the Chancellor of the Ukrainian Royal Family. The Chancellery is an institution that performs the clerical and organizational work of the Ukrainian Royal Family and carries out the directives of the Head of the Royal Family.
The Order of Saint Prince Mykhaylo Cjernihivskyj is the sole chivalric order of the Ukrainian Royal Family. The Order of Saint Prince Mykhaylo Chernihivskyj was founded at the same time as the claim of the Ukrainian Royal Family was publicized.
